From Typography To Digital
The high flexibility of typography allows not only for the conventional printing needs of documents (business cards, headers, …) but also of cards that cannot be printed in offset due to the weight or the quality of the paper. This technique also allows to print on existing documents.
Moreover, by applying a more or less strong pressure of the characters on the paper, typo printing can add a traditional touch called letterpress or debossing.
Offset printing allows the production of large-circulation papers, in one or more colors on a wide variety of papers. The colors are obtained either from a pantone reference (PMS) or from 4 basic colors: cyan, magenta, yellow and black (CMYK).
Digital printing allows the printing directly from computer files. This method is used for smaller process color printing.
