Engraving or embossing

An additional manual machine run gives even more sparkle to the engraved pattern. This high quality process is ideally used for private or professional stationery since the engraving blocks (dies) are reusable on different media and formats (e.g. letterhead and envelope flap). Handley has a wide range of initial etching blocks that can also be used, for example, in making wedding invitations, birth announcements, etc.

Blind embossing

Blind embossing is a similar embossing technique, where no ink is used on the embossed area. As for the inked engraving, this technique requires the creation of a die.
